- Insert your MTN SIM card via the SIM card slot interface at the back of the device
- Connect the MiFi to your PC with the provided data cable (comes with a data cable)
- Power on the MiFi by pressing and holding the power button until the light comes on
- Double-click on the setup icon in the MiFi folder from your computer and wait for the software to install

- Connect to it
- Enter the password (Yours is at the back of your MTN MiFi device)

- Start your your Internet browser (Internet Explorer is better)
- Enter this address: http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and enter
- Type the login password (admin)
- Click on SMS at the top of the screen and send MIFI to 131
